FIELD: erection of pipe lines; construction of heat lines and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe line has only rectilinear section assembled from high-strength cast-iron pipes and welded together; distance between connecting seams does not exceed 0.4 of nominal bore when nominal bore of pipe is lesser than 100 mm and no less than 0.12 of nominal bore when nominal bore of pipe is more than 100 mm but no more than 350 mm; this distance is no more than 0.05 of nominal diameter for pipes whose nominal bore exceeds 350 mm. In case pipe line has turns, angular sections are connected by arc welding or by bending the high-strength cast-iron pipe; distance between adjacent seams in angular sections is no less than 0.04 of nominal bore of pipe. In case pipe line is to be used for heat routes, it shall include at least one U- shaped compensator or bellows; elbows are connected by arc welding or by bending the pipe; in this case, distance between seams is no less than 0.04 of nominal bore of pipe.
