PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electronic component, particularly, a block filter or a resonator that is higher in dielectric constant than those using the conventional material, is free from strength deterioration, has a small size, and is high in performance and excellent in overall electrical characteristics, and, in addition, can suppress the variation of the electrical characteristics, particularly, the inter-lot variation of the dielectric constant of the used material and the wear of molds when the material is formed, and is high in breakdown voltage. SOLUTION: This electronic component uses a composite dielectric material in which at least dielectrics having circular, flat circular, or elliptic projected shape are dispersed.
