PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes time to process an image and that an electric apparatus does not have enough space for housing a storage means required for database for recognizing the image, in the electric apparatus in which image information obtained by an image pickup device is processed. SOLUTION: The image information obtained from the image pickup means 2 provided on the electric apparatus 1 is sent out to an external control means 5 of the apparatus 1 to apply image processing to the information, processing results are sent back to the apparatus 1 which has sent out the information, and the apparatus 1 is controlled on the basis of the information thereof. In this way, the apparatus 1 can process the image information at a high speed, have the database for processing in the outside thereof, perform accurate image processing, and be miniaturized.
