COMMUNICATION BASED ON WEB SERVICE FOR USE WITH PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform communications between a process control system or a process control plant and a plurality of data consumption applications.

SOLUTION: In a communication system and technology based on web service, an information server is used for allowing to easily communicate process control data and analysis results between a plurality of the web services connected to a communication network. A graphical user interface connected with the network allows users to store user profile information and environment configurations into a database in the information server. Using the environment configurations and the profile information, the information server controls a scheduler in the information server and router operations, and allows users to selectively check process control information through the graphical user interface to route the process control information to an appropriate Web service.
