<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension cord reel in a form in which a long extension cord can be pulled out and rewound easily by pulling out the extension cord directly from the reel placed near the power supply and connecting a power tool and enabling a nimble work in a wide area, namely, eliminating inconvenience of the conventional use in which both of a cord reel and a long extension cord are used. <P>SOLUTION: An insulation 4 of rotation symmetry having two rings 3 is fixed to a pipe 2 working as a shaft of a reel drum 1. A power supply cord 5 is connected to the ring 3. A plug 6 is fitted to the top end of the power supply cord. One side-plate 7 on the fixed insulation side out of the two drum side-plates has a larger diameter hole so as to rotate axially on the insulation 3. The other one 8 rotates axially on a pipe same as the ordinary reel. Two brushes or elastic contact pieces 10 are supported by the insulation 9 fixed to the drum so as to elastically contact with the ring respectively. The terminal of the brushes is connected to the extension cord 11 and the receptacle 12 is fitted to its top end. Thereby, conduction of two circuits is completed from the power supply plug to the receptacle at the cord top end regardless of rotation of the drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
