<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for business portfolio preparation capable of preparing an optimum business portfolio formed by integrating resources, risks, and returns. <P>SOLUTION: This business portfolio preparation apparatus comprises a predicted return calculation part calculating a predicted return for each business by sung functions to express the relation among returns expected to be provided by resources distributedly invested to individual business, a risk evaluation part evaluating a risk expected for the individual business, and a finance evaluation index calculation part calculating, based on the total of the resources invested to the individual business and provided returns, finance evaluation indexes for integrated multiple businesses.
