<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently performing the removal of dust piled on a skirt sealing part in a converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for removing the dust on the skirt sealing part in an exhaust gas treating facility in the converter, so as to perform water-sealing by filling a sealing water into an annular groove having U-shaped cross section integrally along a partition cylinder joined with the lower part of a hood forming the lower end part of a flue disposed at the upper part of the furnace throat part in the converter and arranged as ascendable/descendable and by dipping the lower part of the above partition cylinder into the sealing water, a plurality of divided gas header tubes 2 in the circumferential direction are arranged into the sealing water in the above annular groove, and a plurality of gas spouting holes 1 are arranged in lateral direction or further downward in the header tubes to efficiently stir the sealing water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
