<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain meandering of ridge lines of peaks of a bellows due to bending (or hanging down) caused in a metallic expansion. <P>SOLUTION: A support material includes: an upper support material 4a made of a steel pipe and supporting the bellows 2 constituting a metallic expansion from below; a strut 4b supporting the upper support material 4a; a lower support material 4c on which the strut 4b is planted; and inverted-U shaped hanging metals 4d, 4e fixed to the lower support material 4c.
