OPTICAL ELEMENT HAVING DIELECTRIC MULTILAYER FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having a highly accurate dielectric multilayer film while holding satisfactory optical characteristics.

SOLUTION: The optical element comprises the dielectric multilayer film MC having structure where high refractive index layers H and low refractive index layers L are alternately laminated on a synthetic resin substrate S. A material constituting the low refractive index layer L is the mixture of Al2O3and SiO2.
