<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for automatically and continuously grinding internal surfaces of a number of cylindrical workpieces. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a cylindrical workpiece grinding device. According to the structure of the device, a cruciform cylindrical reverser 2 is intermittently rotated 90 degrees about a horizontal Y-axis and the workpiece (which may be a long workpiece 3l or a short workpiece 3s) is inserted into the cruciform cylindrical reverser. The workpiece is conveyed to a location a, and rotated together with the cruciform cylindrical reverser to a location b. Herein "a nozzle 5 attached to a nozzle pipe 6" is elevated to the interior of the workpiece at the location b, to thereby grind the internal surface of the workpiece.
