A double solenoid electrical switching device comprises a pair of solenoid switches mounted together on a common base, the plungers of which are spaced from each other by a longitudinally movable interlock pin having a length which is such that when the contacts of one of the solenoids are closed, the pin is moved by the plunger of that solenoid to a position in which the plunger of the other solenoid is prevented from moving so as to simultaneously close its contact.
