PURPOSE:To automatize corrections, etc., needed resulting from a difference in system by switching respective circuits in a television receiver so that normal pictures can be obtained by a control signal in reception of reproduced signals. CONSTITUTION:To receive television signals, switch 4 is OFF and video switch 14 is placed at the (b) side; and television video signals from video detector 15 are supplied to cathode-ray tube 21, audio signals are cut off by audio switch 14', and video audio signals from audio detector 15' are applied to loudspeaker 22. When VTR1 is in reproduction mode, switches 4 and 4' are ON and controller 13 places switches 14 and 14' at the (a) side to apply video and audio signals from VTR1 to cathode-ray tube 21 and loudspeaker 22 respectively. Then, system switch 20 is turned ON and under the control of controller 13', color demodulator 18 and deflecting circuit 19 are set by switching to circuit constants by which reception on the NTSC system comes into effect. |
