PURPOSE:To permit a dosimeter to accurately perform various measurements such as measurement of irradiated doses, absorbed doses and dose equivalent by amplifying the output of a radiation detector and converting it into a digital value before performing arithmetical operations on the value. CONSTITUTION:The output pulse generated by a radiation detector 1 is amplified in an amplifier 2. An analog/digital converter 3 converts the peak value of the pulse into a digital value. An arithmetic unit 4 performs arithmetical operations on the peak value and the load functional value stored in a read-only memory (ROM) 5 and outputs the result to an output display means 6.
