A waste fitting which includes a plug mounted upon a sprung loaded pop-up cartridge, a mounting plate and a waste pipe connector; wherein the mounting plate provides a supporting bracket adapted to receive said pop-up cartridge as a push in grip fit therein; said supporting bracket further providing mounting points spaced around said bracket, for two or more supporting screws; said waste fitting further including an externally screw threaded securing ring which is dimensioned to engage an internal screw thread formed within said waste pipe connector; said securing ring providing an internally screw threaded socket located and arranged to correspond to each of said two or more supporting screws; the provision of the securing ring enables the supporting screws to be correctly positioned before the fitting is lowered into place, making installation very much easier and quicker. |
