As herbicidal compounds, compound I or it's L-isomer 1wt% and one of maleic hydrazide, 2,3,6-trichloro phenyl acetate N-phosphono methyl glycine, 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, choline, 3-(3,4-dichloro phenyl)-1-methoxy-1-methyl urea etc. 0.1 - 20wt% were prepared. Thus, applications of the herbicide against several perennial weeds, that is Artemisia princeps, etc. resulted in strong growth inhibitory effects by treating 50g DL-AMPB/10a - 1200 DL-AMPB/10a. The mixture of 0.025% L-AMPB monosodium salt and 0.1% 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetate showed synergistic effect on the growth inhibition of Bitter dock.
