PURPOSE:To enable to automatically turn over pages not only for intermediate leaves of a passbook but for a cover of the passbook by a common mechanism, by changing over contact conditions of page turning-over rollers in accordance with the leaf to be turned over. CONSTITUTION:When the passbook 9 inserted through a feeding passage 23 is fed backward by rollers 2 to reach a predetermined position, a lever 47b for turning over pages is rotated by a solenoid 45b and the page turning-over roller 49 is rotated to the right or the like, whereby the uppermost leaf 48 is kicked up, pages are substantially turned over for the intermediate leaf, and the passbook is fed again to a printing part. On the other hand, for the passbook 8 printed to the last column in the last page, a lever 47a similar to the lever 47b is reversely rotated to the left or the like, and a cover leaf 30 is kicked up by the roller 49 in a contact condition different from that for the intermediate leaf, whereby pages are turned over. Accordingly, pages can be automatically turned over not only for intermediate leaves but for the cover of the passbook by the common mechanism. |
