PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents materials to be cut from bending and weakens the colliding force against a stopper by the constitution in which the materials conveyed by a roller table are decelerated under the control of a function generator and the power source for the motor of the rear table roller is cut off. CONSTITUTION:Plural materials S to be cut such as steel bars are conveyed at a high speed in an arrow (a) direction by a roller table consisting of roller groups I -VI and a function generator 8 is controlled via timers 12, 13 by the signals from a pulse generator 10 and a counter 11 at a suitable set point of time to actuate a motor speed regulator 7 which regulates the speed of a motor 5 for a roller 4 to prevent the materials S from bending. An electromagnetic switch 6 is controlled by the generator 8 to be turned off upon completion of the deceleration down to the prescribed low speed so that the torque generated by the motor 5 of the roller 4 for the groups I , II is made zero. The materials S are conveyed at the low speed by the roller groups III-IV alone in the state of weakening the conveying force to weaken the colliding force against a stopper 2. The materials S are cut to a fixed length by a shear 3 at the point of the time when the ends of all the material S contact tightly with the stopper 2. |
