The aim is to provide a simple, compact measurement method, which operates in a contactless way, for determining the position of the plunger of a vibration damper, pneumatic spring or hydropneumatic springing. In order to solve this problem, the plunger and/or the plunger rod is constructed as a capacitor in common with a further electrode arranged in an insulated manner in the interior of a cylinder. |
