PURPOSE:To prevent the escape of electromagnetic wave so as to protect the observer by making the translucent plate by affixing translucent resin plates to the surfaces of a shielding net formed by weaving wires prepared by performing silver plating on metallic wires having an ability of protecting the escape of electromagnetic wave such as copper or iron. CONSTITUTION:A shielding net 1 is formed by weaving vertically and horizontally, wires 2 prepared by performing silver plating on metallic wires having an ability of preventing the escape of electromagnetic wave such as copper or iron. Next, translucent resin plates 3 and 4 are affixed to the surfaces of the shielding net 1 in such a manner as to cause the unified body to curve gently forward, thereby making a translucent screen plate 5 which can be attached to the screen 13 of a picture tube 12. The screen plate 15 is provided with an attachment loop 6 formed by winding the peripheral part of the shielding net 1 protruding from the back resin plate 3. Next, a display device 10 is constituted by attaching the screen plate 5 to the screen 13 by fitting the loop 6 in an attachment section 11 formed on the periphery of the inner surface of the display part. After that, the outer surface of the display device 10 is covered with a metallic coat having an ability of preventing the escape of electromagnetic wave, and the metallic coat is electrically connected to the attachment section 11. By the means mentioned above, the observer can be protected by inhibiting the radiation of electromagnetic wave. |
