The chuck jaws (6) for the drill (3) can be adjusted concentrically to the chuck axis (8) by means of an adjusting ring (7) guided in a rotatable and axially fixed manner on the chuck body (1). The adjusting ring (7) forms an annular disc (10) which lies in front of the drill-side end face of the chuck body (1) and has radial slots (11) which are open towards an opening (9) for the drill (3) and in which the chuck jaws (6) are guided. At its end face facing the annular disc (10), the chuck body (1) is provided with a scroll (12) whose spiral thread turns mesh with corresponding spiral thread-turn sections (13) on the side of the chuck jaws (6) which faces the chuck body (1). <IMAGE>
