PURPOSE:To retract a rope hook into a cargo bed to prevent the hook from catching a human body or other meterials, by providing a push lockpush release mechanism for recovering the relation between a movable member and a casing into their engageable condition from their disengaging condition. CONSTITUTION:A rope hook device 5 is provided with a casing 8 consisting of a base 6 and a cover 7. A cylinder section 9 in a movable member 11 to which the center section of the lower surface of a horizontal plate like rope hook 10 for hooking a rope to the top of the cylinder section 9 is secured, is slidably fitted into a space in the base 6. The movable member 11 may be moved between its retracted position within a window opening 121 in the upper piece 3b of a side flap plate and its projected position. A push lock-push release mechanism 17 comprises a lock lever 18, a guide means 20, etc. Due to the engagement between the lever 18, a guide pin 19 and an engaging hole 23 the movable member 11 is stabely held in the retracted position. |
