<p>PURPOSE:To attain the purification of waste water by sedimenting a suspending matter, by separating a water tank into an aeration tank and a sedimentation tank while enlarging the cross-sectional area of the sedimentation tank toward the upper part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A partition wall 3 is arranged in a water tank 1 to divide said water tank 1 into an aeration tank 5 and a sedimentation tank 7. A gap 9 is formed between the lower end edge of the partition wall 3 and the bottom surface of the water tank 1 to communicate both tanks 5, 7 and the wall surface 3a of a the partition wall 3 in the side of the sedimentation tank 7 has an upwardly enlarged oblique surface shape. An inclined member 21 is provided to the lower corner part of the sedimentation tank 7 and the precipitate D in the sedimentation tank 7 is guided to the aeration tank 5.</p> |
