Provided is a resin cap which, even if used for a container mouth section consisting of a non-crystalline resin and having a front end with a thickness of 2 mm or more, can satisfactorily maintain the container in a sealed condition. This resin cap (10) is provided with: a top plate section (11); a cylinder section (12) hanging from the peripheral edge of the top plate section; an outer ring (13) formed on the inner surface of the top plate section and coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of a container mouth section (20); and an inner ring (14) formed on the inner surface of the top plate section and coming into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the container mouth section (20). The inner peripheral surface of the outer ring (13) is formed in a shape which conforms to the shape of the outer peripheral surface of the front end of the container mouth section (20). The thickness of the front end of the container mouth section (20) consisting of a non-crystalline resin is 2 mm or more. |
