摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent production of unwilling change in the rotation radius of a vehicle, by a method wherein, in a vehicle in which a steering angle ratio between steering mechanisms for front and rear wheels is controlled by a car speed, when a front wheel steering angle is below a given value, a steering angle control value is changeable according to a car speed. CONSTITUTION:A car speed 24 and a front wheel steering angle 25 are inputted to a microcomputer 26, a desired steering angle ratio is decided according to a car speed to output it to 31, and rear wheels are steered through comparison at 27 of the result with a position signal from a rear wheel swing lever 18. In which case, the microcomputer 26 decided whether the front wheel steering angle 25 is wider than a given fine front steering angle or narrower during setting of a desired steering angle ratio, and when narrower than the fine steering angle, a steering angle ratio responding to a car speed is computed. But, when wider than the fine steering angle, an alteration responding to a car speed of a desired steering angle is prohibited, and a steering angle is held at an initial value. This constitution enables prevention of production of an unwilling change in a rotation radius during turning.
