PURPOSE:To attain the detection of location of a fault generating source by providing a function outputting a detection station address when an LL system synchronization fault or an LR system synchronization fault is inputted to a supervisory control section of a remote station so as to superimpose the address onto a prescribed supervisory control slot. CONSTITUTION:A repeater section 22 of the LR system uses a receiver 221 to receive a transmission signal of an LL system ring to demodulate it into a transmission frame signal. The transmission frame is inputted to a synchronization fault detection circuit 224 and a PS/SP converter 223, where a reception output at each received data slot and the superimposition of transmission at each slot are attained. A data for transmission superimposition or a data of a transmission frame relayed as it is given to a driver 222 from a serial output terminal of the PS/SP converter 223 and after modulation is applied in a transmission line, the result is sent to a downstream ring. This is applied similarly to a repeater section 23 of the LR system. Thus, a generating source of a synchronization error is detected by the synchronous station side. |
