<p>PURPOSE:To sweep and display a synthetic radar image on a single display screen effectively utilizing a merit in the difference of wavelength, by switching two image memories alternately between the writing mode and the reading mode by synchronizing one rotation of either of two radar units. CONSTITUTION:No.1 and 2 radar units (LU) different in the wavelength output video information obtained by the quantization of respective video signals and antenna information by digital conversion of an antenna angle. Two image memories 20a and 20b are switched alternately between the writing mode and the reading mode synchronizing one rotation of one antenna by a reading address generating section 24. Then, the No.1 LU (shorter wavelength) writes video information up to prescribed detection distance and the No.2 LU (longer wavelength) writes video information exceeding the prescribed detection distance separately into one image memory under the writing mode by the addressing based on respective antenna angles to obtain compound video information. At the point, compound video information is read out of the other image memory under the reading mode to display the results on a CRT as one image.</p> |
