Method for transmitting digital data

A method is indicated with which additional information can be transmitted using the known block-code monitoring method in digital data transmission. For this purpose, instead of the coded transmission blocks with (n+1) bits, information blocks similarly with (n+1) bits are inserted at fixed intervals in the data stream. The information blocks are composed of data blocks with n bits which are branched off from the data stream before the coding and an information bit which is removed from at least one other data stream with a significantly lower frequency. The information bit is filtered out from the incoming data stream at the receiving end.
