PURPOSE:To improve workability for the assembly of a starter motor and a throttle valve operation device and the maintenance thereof by arranging the starting motor within the side region of a cylinder block and locating a throttle valve operation mechanism within a region at the side of a carbureter rather than a starting motor arrangement region. CONSTITUTION:The end of a crank-case 18 is connected with three carbureters 20 and suction boxed 21, each upper, middle and lower, corresponding to each cylinder. A starting motor 24 is fixed within the side region of a cylinder block 17. A throttle valve operation device 26 is mainly arranged within the side region of the crank-case 18 located rather at the side of the carbureter 20 than the arrangement area of the starting motor 24 and CDI ignition device 25. In this way, it is possible to improve workability for the assembly of the starting motor 24 and the throttle valve operation device 26, and the maintenance thereof. |
