PURPOSE:To simplify structure, and to reduce cost by fixing a temperature sensor with length approximately the same as the height of a hot water tank in the height direction of the outer wall of the hot water tank and performing the display of the amount of remaining hot water at a desired heating temperature and the control of the temperature of water in the tank by means of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A heater 4 for heating is mounted within the hot water tank 1, while to a lower section thereof a water supply port 2 is set up and toan upper section thereof a hot water discharge port 3, and the temperature sensor 5 with the length of approximately the same size as the height of the tank in the height direction is fixed on the outer wall of the hot water tank. A controlling section 6 is mounted in order to control the heater 4 on the basis of the change of the resistance value of the temperature sensor 5 with the change of the temperature of hot water in the tank 1. The controlling section 6 is formed by an amplifying section 7, a set temperature adjusting section 8, a remaining hot water amount display section 9, a comparison circuit 10, an electromagnetic switch driving controlling section 11 and an electromagnetic switch driving section 12. The amount of remaining hot water is displayed and the electric heater 4 is ON-OFF controlled by output signals based on the change of the resistance value of the temperature sensor 5. |
