The invention relates to a tunnel sealing system for sealing the end joint between the last float element and a fixed bank structure (one tunnel advancing direction) or between the respective last float elements (two tunnel advancing directions). The essential feature of this tunnel sealing system consists in the fact that a steel frame element (15) is provided with hollow profile sealing frames (14) which are mounted and can be activated on both sides, it being possible to span and seal the remaining gap (13) between the components by inflating the said sealing frames by feeding in air or a permanently elastic medium. <IMAGE>
