PURPOSE:To secure such a ceiling fan that is capable of setting a wind velocity automatically according to height of room temperature, by selecting plural speed regulating terminals installed in stator winding, according to the room temperature. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor part 1 is constituted of an auxiliary coil 4, a series circuit 6 consisting of a condenser 5 and a main coil 7 connected to these elements in parallel. And, a speed regulator 2 is provided with a notch selector switch 8 and plural condensers 9 and 10 and connected to a power source 3 in series to the motor part 1. Plural speed regulating terminals 12 and 13 are formed in the auxiliary coil 4 of the motor part 1, and interconnection between these speed regulating terminals 12 and 13 and the speed regulator 2 is constituted so as to be selected by a selector switch 11 being controlled according to room temperature. With this constitution, a ceiling fan is comfortably utilizable.
