PURPOSE:To lessen a load actuating on an universal coupling by providing a planetary gear mechanism as a deceleration mechanism on a power transmission route from one of the output members of a center differential to an inter- wheel differential device. CONSTITUTION:Inside the case 20 of a transfer device 3, all of a left front wheel drive shaft 21 and a right front wheel drive shaft 22, a transfer shaft 23 arranged in parallel with and behind these right and left front wheel drive shafts and a rear wheel output shaft 24 arranged longitudinally to a vehicle body and protrudingly to the rear are rotatably supported. No.1 inter-shaft differential device 40 and No.2 inter-shaft differential device 50, both of a planetary type, are arranged on an intermediate shaft 23 as well as a bevel gear type front wheel differential device 30 is arranged on the periphery of mutually facing ends of the right and left front wheel drive shafts 22 and 21.
