Composite metallic structure resistant to thermal fatigue, especially caused by repeated and localised heat shocks to mechanically stressed components 1, characterised in that the zones of components subjected to thermal fatigue consist of a surface layer 10 of an alloy having elongation and creep properties sufficient to render it insensitive to the thermal shock stresses which the surface zone in question experiences, this layer 10 being put down by welding on the substrate of the component 1 made of higher strength alloy withstanding the mechanical stresses on the said component.
