The invention relates to a control device with self-supporting monostable push-button which can be associated with at least one pressure-sensitive contactor, including at least one button cap mounted on a supporting chassis or on a front plate. This device is characterised in that the button cap 1 is formed preferably from an elastic material whose peripheral surface includes a high peripheral part 4 and a low peripheral part, the high peripheral part 4 being provided with latching claws 5 engaged in a hole made in the supporting chassis 6, whilst on its lower side 9 the front plate 15 has holes 10 serving for the passage of at least one element for actuating the contactor.
