The temp. sensor comprises a measurement sensing element with a heater and a power supply for the heater. The power is determined with reference to the sensing element's convective heat transfer chacteristic and is made such that the sensing element's characteristic of temp. fall with air speed generally coincides with a human body's effective temp. fall characteristic relating to air speed. A temp. determination circuit uses the sensing element's output to determine the effective temp. corrected for air speed and supplies input to controller.
