<??>- The wheel brake for a motorised terrain vehicle according to the invention is characterised in that:
the stator annular disc (8) is mounted floating on fingers (10) offered by the hub carrier (7) of the wheel,
the means of displacement consist of hydraulically actuated pistons (11), arranged in the hub carrier (7),
and the rotor (12) comprises an annular disc mounted floating on a counter-thrust plate (13) arranged so that it cannot move on the front face of the flange (5) of the hub and made to rotate by the hub.
