The present invention relates to roller skates whose monoblock design and shape permit greater manoeuvrability and greater stability than existing models. They are characterised essentially, on the one hand, by the fact that the boot 1 is fastened onto the plate 8 which carries the wheels 15, which eliminates any space and thus any possibility of play between the boot and the system carrying the wheels 15, and, on the other hand, by their carefully designed form 9 and the presence of a piece making it possible to protect the lower elements at the time of impacts. <IMAGE>
