An air distributor for ventilation and air-conditioning systems consists of a thin, flexible, air-impermeable tube, which is provided at one end with a closed bottom (5) and at its circumference with air outlet openings (7). All air outlet openings (7) have the same diameter and the same centre distance from one another. The quantity of air flowing out of the air outlet openings (7) per unit of time and length is dependent on the static overpressure at the closed bottom (5) and is largely the same over the entire length of the air distributor (3). The air distributor (3) has a low mass and can be suspended with the aid of foil strips. <IMAGE>
