The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a service for monitoring and controlling an overall situation of 4D theaters installed and operated in several places. More particularly, the present invention includes an operation server configured to collect state information about an effect device, motion chairs, and a cinema server included in a theater and a central server configured to receive log data including the state information from the operation server and to generally provide a user with state information about all of theaters.
