Device aiding vision when wearing a face mask, comprising a face guard 1 covering at least the eyes and the part of the face around the eyes. The face guard has at least one viewing area 6 of transparent material. The device aiding vision comprises a frame 23, 24, 26 in which at least one correcting lens is arranged for correcting the wearer's sight defect. The frame is arranged on the inside of the mask with a securing member 18 by means of which the distance between the wearer's eyes and the correcting lens of the frame can be steplessly adjusted.
