PURPOSE:To obtain a large output oscillatory wave motor having good performance by securing a sliding member composed of composite resin, where filler is mixed with thermoplastic resin having transition point to glass higher than 100 deg.C, to a supporting member composed of elastic material having good thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:When frequency voltages having phases different by 90 deg. each other are applied onto electrodes 1a, 1b polarized alternately in the direction of thickness, vibration wave is produced in the circumferential direction on the sliding face of a vibration member 2, and a moving member 3 is rotary driven through frictional force on the sliding faces of the vibration member 2 and a sliding member 3b. When the vibration member 2 is composed of elastic material having low coefficient of thermal expansion and the counterpart sliding member is composed of reinforced composite resin, the sliding face is subjected to hardening processing. The sliding member 3b is composed of thermosetting resin or composite resin thereof having transition point to glass higher than 100 deg.C. |
