Sleeve with foaming material - is fitted to pipe to act as fire protection and has heat conductors buried in foam
摘要
The fire protective sleeve is fitted to a pipe. It comprises foaming material within a housing which surrounds the pipeline and is proof against swelling forces. Heat conductors (13') should be embedded in the protective foam material and should form a heat conenction to the space surrounding the sleeve (3'). USE/ADVANTAGE - Pipeline services, e.g. post, water etc. using thermoplastics piping. Heat conductors in foam round sleeve react instantly to fire heat to close off ruptured pipe.
