The connector is formed by a male end-fitting and a female end-fitting. The male end-fitting comprises a sleeve formed by a hoop 12 whose diameter is equal to the internal diameter of a tube 2 and of a hoop 13 concentric with the hoop 12 and whose diameter is equal to the external diameter of the tube 2. The hoops 12, 13 are secured together by a ring 17. The male end-fitting is supplemented by a convergent hoop 19 extending the hoop 12. The female end-fitting comprises a sleeve formed by a hoop 25 of the same conicity as the hoop 19, but divergent, whose minimum diameter is equal to the internal diameter of the hose 7 and of a hoop 26 whose diameter is equal to the external diameter of the hose 7. The hoops 25, 26 are secured together by a ring 29. Means are provided for fixing each end of the tube into its sleeve. For an insulated flexible pipe, the sleeves, mounted on the ends of the internal tubes 2, 7, are supplemented by hoops 14, 27 whose diameter is equal to the external diameter of the external tubes 3, 8 and which are fitted over their ends.
