<p>PURPOSE:To allow miniaturization without requiring a considerable modification of a compressor device and without requiring auxiliary facilities and to facilitate the force feeding of coated optical fibers consisting of fluorocarbon on a site so as to improve working efficiency by providing hygroscopic fine powder on the inside surface of a plastic tube constituting the pipeline. CONSTITUTION:Plural lines of grooves 15 are provided on the inside surface of the plastic tube 13 and the hygroscopic fine powder is packed into the grooves 15 to constitute the tube 13 having a uniform circular inside surface. Namely, the hygroscopic fine powder 14, for example, fine powders of silica gel, phosphorus pentaoxide, etc., are press-fed into the grooves 15 and the inside surface of the tube is uniformly finished by reducing the surface area thereof as far as possible. The higher effect is obtd. if the grooves 15 are formed to sectional shapes, such as triangular and semicircular shapes, to decrease the surface area of the inside surface side of the plastic tube 13 as far as possible. The grooves 15 may be provided in arbitrary shapes like straight and spiral shapes. The efficient feeding of the coated optical fibers to a remote place is possible in this way without entailing considerable modification of the conventional compressor device, etc.</p> |
