A mobile device for cleaning a vertical duct (9) in a building (12) comprises a tank (3) for cleaning liquid, a unit (4) for pressurising the cleaning liquid, a feeder hose for supplying the pressurised cleaning liquid to the vertical duct, a riser hose connected to the feeder hose and adapted to conduct the cleaning liquid upwards in the duct, and a spray nozzle (8) mounted at the end of the riser hose and having a number of circumferentially distributed holes for discharging the pressurised cleaning liquid in such a manner that the spray nozzle and the riser hose propelled upwards in the duct while at the same time cleaning the duct wall. The pressurising unit (4) generates a pressure of 110-320 bar. At least a first number of the holes are adapted to discharge the cleaning liquid to propel the spray nozzle upwards in the duct, these holes having an angle of aperture of 45 DEG or less to the discharge direction of the spray nozzle. Furthermore, at least a second number of the holes are adapted to discharge the cleaning liquid to clean the duct wall, these holes having an angle of aperture of 90 DEG or less to the discharge direction. The inner diamter of the riser hose is between 7 and 10 mm. |
