<p>For the cyclical lubrication of a chain by means of at least one lubricator (10) cyclically supplied with lubricant by a cyclically operating motor-driven pump unit (2), via a metered dispenser (8), the lubricator (10) possesses at least one moveable applicator (11) which is stressed away from the chain (1) by a spring (21). The applicator (10) possesses an activating member (16) which, via a control line (24) containing a nonreturn valve (25), is connected to the outlet of the pump (4). After each cycle of lubrication, the pressure in the control line (24) is for a timed interval relaxed by a slide valve (27), so that the applicator (11) continues in contact with the chain (1) for a predetermined interval after the end of the cycle. <IMAGE></p> |
