A package for liquids is made of a foldable blank cut out from a liquid-tight flat material, preferably a plastics coated cardboard, and has a lid (1), a bottom (2), front (3), back (4) and side walls (5, 6), and a longitudinal joining edge (11) for preclosing the blank into a tubular section. A slanted wall (7) arranged betwen the lid (1) and the front wall (3) has a pourer (8) joined by first triangular foldable segments (15, 16) approximately coincide with a folding line (12) located between the front wall (3) and the slanted wall (7). The lid (1) is linked to the side walls (5, 6) by other foldable segments, of which inner foldable segments (17, 18) begin at the lid and have folding lines aligned with the folding lines of the first triangular foldable segments (15, 16) when the blank is spread out. The inner foldable segments (17, 18) are linked to the first triangular foldable segments by folding lines (19, 20) that extend approximately parallel to the folding line between the slanted wall (7) and the lid (1), when the package is finished. Second triangular folding segments (21, 22) are arranged between the inner folding segments (17, 18) and the side walls (5, 6) and their vertices also approximately coincide with the connecting line between the slanted wall and the lid of the finished package. The foldable segments are inwardly folded and the lid (1) has a foldable edge (10) for joining it to the back wall (4). |
