Disclosed are a system and method for showing image information. The system can comprise a panoramic image information acquisition device for acquiring panoramic image information via a panoramic camera module and transmitting the currently acquired panoramic image information to an image information transmission system connected to the panoramic image information acquisition device; the image information transmission system for receiving the panoramic image information currently acquired by the panoramic image information acquisition device and transmitting the panoramic image information to an image information experiencing device connected to the image information transmission system; and the image information experiencing device for detecting a current visual angle of an experiencing user, extracting image information about the current visual angle from the panoramic image information and showing the extracted image information, wherein the image information comprises a static image and/or a dynamic video image. The embodiments of the present invention can improve the visual angle of image information.
