Use of methylcyclopentane as heat carrier at low temp - combining no increased viscosity at low temp, with no danger of freezing, and with biodegradability

Methylcyclopentane (I) is used as heat-carrier at between -130 and +70 (-130 to -90) deg.C. ADVANTAGE - The increase in viscosity of (I) at low temps. is negligible, allowing optimum flow of the heat-carrier, short cooling times, and good cooling efficiency, with no danger of the heat-carrier freezing. The wide spread of temps. is an advantage. (I) is biodegradable.
