Panel for a noise damping wall consists of two or more glass panes with interposed plastics material (pref. EVA or polyvinyl butyral bonding foil), united as a bonded unit (1,2,3) and positioned in front of a solar cell (4) array which is covered by a sealing glass plate (6). Also claimed is a noise damping wall constructed (partially) of panels as in (A). ADVANTAGE - Panel combines good safety and sound damping properties with solar energy recovery, can be mfd. simply and efficiently and may be (partially) transparent. (6pp Dwg.No.1/4)
